Green Gram Sundal
moong dal – 1/4 kg, red chillies – 2, mustard – 1 tsp, asafoatida – 1/4 tsp, oil 2 tsp, grated coconut – 10 tsp , salt – 1/4 tsp, curry leaves – 10
cook green gramdal in water and drain. it should not be overcooked. It is better not to cook in pressure cooker. in a kadai add oil, put mustard, red chillies, asafoetida. add this and the coconut to sundal and mix well.
