Curd Rice
Cook rice in a pressure cooker. Leave it for about 3 hours in a closed vessel. Pour 1 cup of sour curd, 3/4 cup of milk, 1/2 tsp salt to the rice and mix well Heat 3 tsp of oil and add mustard seeds. When it pops, add urud dal, 3-5 Curd Chillie pickle,and roast fully and then add a pinch of asafoetida. Add this to the curd rice and mix well.


instead of curd chilli, can season with chopped green chillies and grated ginger. garnish with grated carrot few cashews and coriander leaves. children will like it
