Tamarind Gosthu
Vegetables – any one of brinjal, plantain, chouchou, peerkangai
Cut any of the vegetables into medium pieces and cook in a pressure cooker. Heat 2 spoon of oil in a fry pan ,add mustard seeds and whole red peppers. See that the red peppers do not turn black. When the mustard pops, add tamarind juice and the vegetables and salt to taste and cook for about 5 minutes. This is a side dish for VenPongal or Uppuma.
