  1. I think this recipe should say “soak the rice and urud dal for 2-3 hrs” and NOT “rinse the rice and dal for 2-3 hrs.

    Just my 2 cents worth.

  2. Yes Mr.Srinivasan. We can use raw rice too. If we use Raw rice instead of parboiled rice, we can get very crispy dosa.
