Tomato Rasam
Boil 1 large (very ripe and sour )tomato in a cooker or by heating in a vessel of water so that the tomato gets mashed.Add water so that the total quantityis 3 cups.Add 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of Sambar powder, and a pinch of asafoetida and cook for about 5 minutes.Now add steamed toor dal and cook for about 2 minutes. Add 1 tsp of Rasam Powder and cokk for 3 minutes. Heat a tsp of mustard seeds in ghee and whey they pop fully, add it to the rasam. Add a bunch of fresh cilantro leaves and a bunch of curry leaves..
